About Us
Vesom Consulting Ltd
Vesom Consulting is a female-led, AGPO-certified Kenyan consultancy. Since 2017, it has delivered social impact assessments, gender analysis and mainstreaming, baseline surveys, HIV/AIDS awareness, child protection, gender-based violence, socio-economic inclusion, climate change and monitoring and evaluation assignments for public, private and development-sector clients. This body of work speaks directly to the thematic scope of this Needs Assessment: post-school transition barriers, livelihood pathways, agency and leadership, climate-related vulnerability in agro-pastoral economies and safeguarding.

Environmental and Social Management Plans for Nyandiva Beach Fish Landing Site
Fisheries infrastructure assignment
Vesom Consulting Limited prepared and submitted Management Strategies and Implementation Plans (MSIPs) for the Construction of the Fish Landing Site at Nyandiva Beach, Lake Victoria, in Homa Bay County (Lot 8), under Contract No. 2000001132-0272-W-ICB-LOT 8. The assignment covered the Contractor’s Environmental and Social Management Plan (C-ESMP), waste management, air quality, borrow pit management, occupational safety and health, fire safety, emergency preparedness and response, labour management, gender mainstreaming, labour influx management, child protection, HIV/AIDS prevention, resource sharing and a grievance redress strategy for workers. Vesom was engaged by Regence Enterprises.

Vesom Consulting Limited provides Environmental, Health, Safety, Social and Gender-Based Violence services, including the provision of qualified experts, to the Water Resources Authority for 12 boreholes in Garissa County under the Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Programme (HoAGW4RP). The project is funded by the World Bank, and Vesom was subcontracted by Al Bahasara Limited.
